The first idea does not have to carry the whole project. We create room for several songs to begin, then listen for the ones with a pulse.

We follow several ideas far enough to get past the obvious—and give surprise a chance to enter the room.
Decide together.
The group chooses which songs deserve the deeper work: writing, recording, production, and release.

When a song asks for another voice, instrument, writer, or perspective, the project opens the door.
