ROOM AT mStudio

I’m beginning to make room.

mStudio has always been small on purpose.

But the work keeps growing — websites, design, campaigns, social, email, print, video, content and the thoughtful use of AI to help clients stay current and keep moving forward.

So I’m beginning to think about what mStudio could look like with a few more really good people in it.

Not hiring today. Starting conversations for what may come next.

01 Making room.

Not someone who just waits for the next task.

01

Understand.

Learn the client, their voice, their goals and what we’re already trying to accomplish together.

02

Notice.

Pay attention to what is changing, what could work better and what the client may need before they ask.

03

Make it real.

Don’t stop with a good idea. Design it, build it, write it, improve it or help get it into the world.

mStudio does a lot of things. You don’t have to.

I’m not looking for one person who can do everything. I’m interested in people who are really good at something — and who understand how their work connects to everything else.

POTENTIAL 2027 NEED 01 / 06

Keep the website moving — not just maintained.

The first place I can see needing help is with the ongoing craft + care of client websites. That means taking ownership of the digital experience rather than simply completing website updates when someone asks.

THE WORK COULD INCLUDE

  • WordPress and responsive front-end work
  • UX and page improvements
  • SEO and search optimization
  • AI-search visibility and content structure
  • Accessibility and performance
  • Landing pages and campaign integration
  • Forms, embeds and technical troubleshooting
  • Proactively improving what clients already have
WHAT MATTERS MOST

You naturally notice what could be better before the client has to ask.

Room for good people. Room for trust to grow.

The goal isn’t to make mStudio bigger for the sake of being bigger. It’s to make room for the right work to be carried well.

Use it well. Don’t hide behind it.

AI is becoming part of how mStudio researches, explores, writes, designs, builds, optimizes and sees possibilities faster.

But the standard doesn’t change.

Understand the client. Make good decisions. Create work that feels like them — not like AI.

Start with some work. Build some trust. See what grows.

I’m not trying to build a large agency.

I am interested in finding people who could become trusted collaborators — starting with contract work, perhaps helping with one client or one part of the work, and allowing responsibility to grow when it makes sense.

With the right person, that could eventually mean taking real ownership of a meaningful part of mStudio.

There doesn’t need to be an opening today for us to know each other.

Introduce yourself.

This isn’t a formal application and it isn’t a promise that I have work available right now.

It’s simply a way for me to learn who you are, what you’re really good at and whether there might someday be something worth doing together.
